Day 1: Venice
Arrive in Venice for the start of our Italian adventure!
Day 2: Venice (B, D)
In the morning, we’ll have a sightseeing tour of the city with a local guide. Then you’ll have free time to explore in the afternoon, before enjoying our welcome dinner this evening.
Day 3: Venice (B)
Free day to explore on your own. Venice has 17 islands, including 177 canals and 400 bridges. You can take a water taxi to the island of Murano to see the glass factories and then take another water taxi on to nearby Burano to see the lace shops. Plenty to see and do!
Day 4: Venice to Verona to Lake Garda (B, L)
We’ll head out of Venice today, stopping in Verona (the home of Romeo and Juliet) for sightseeing tour with local guide. Then it’s off to a great wine-tasting lunch, before departing for Lake Garda.
Day 5: Lake Garda to Cinque Terre (B)
Today we’ll head to one of the highlights—Cinque Terre! You’ll love this unique location of five little towns built along the coastline. We’re staying in Monterosso, one of the five medieval villages that dot this fantastically beautiful area. The location of this village offers you the perfect base from which to explore this unique area of the world.
Day 6: Cinque Terre/Monterosso (B)

Day 7; Cinque Terre to Florence (B)
Today we’ll drive to Florence, with a photo stop in Pisa. You must take your picture with the Leaning Tower, of course!
Day 8: Florence (B)
This morning we’ll have a city sightseeing tour, and then some free time to explore this incredible city.
Day 9: Florence to San Gimignano (B, L)
Now we’ll drive out to the Chianti area, where we’ll stop for a wine-tasting lunch. Then we’ll end up at the little medieval town of San Gimignano.
Day 10: San Gimignano (B)
Free day to explore.
Day 11: San Gimignano to San Quirico D’Orcia (B, D)
We’ll depart San Gimignano and head to Siena for a tour with a local guide.
Day 12: San Quirico D’Orcia to Rome (B, L)
Today’s drive to Rome will include a stop at Hadrian’s Villa, a fascinating masterpiece of an ancient Italian villa. We’ll also have a lovely wine-tasting lunch. Then, all roads lead to Rome!
Day 13: Rome (B)
We’ll have a morning city tour with local guide. So much to see and do in Rome—the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, the Pantheon, museums, and plenty more.
Day 14: Rome (B, D)
Free day until farewell dinner at a local restaurant.
Day 15: Transfer to airport for return flights (B)
