Greece:: Classical Greece and Beautiful Islands, like two vacations in one!

Athens and the classical tour of northern Greece. Then, the breathtaking islands of Santorini, Paros, and Myconos. This is one of our most popular custom-designed trips. It's a great trip for people who have not yet visited Greece, as you'll see Athens, the Classical sites, and three of the islands. Best of all -- it combines an excellent guided experience in Athens and the sites of Classical Greece, and then you'll have plenty of free time to relax and explore the islands. It's like having a vacation in the middle of your vacation.

Day 1: Depart the US

Day 2: Arrive Athens and transfer to the hotel.

Day 3: We'll go on a city tour, including the Acropolis, in the morning. Rest of the afternoon is free time to explore the Plaka area and more of Athens.

Day 4: Athens to Delphi. Visit this spectacular site and great musuem.

Day 5: Delphi to Olympia. A beautiful drive along the coast! Pretend you're an Olympian, and run through the stadium.

Day 6: Olympia to Kalamaki Beach. Visit the ruins of Mycenae and Epidarus.

Day 7: Back to Athens and then fly to Santorini. We'll visit Corinth in the morning, before returning to Athens for our flight to the islands.

Days 8 and 9: Free time on Santorini

Day 10: High-speed ferry to Paros

Days 11 and 12: Free time on Paros

Day 13: High-speed ferry to Myconos

Days 14 and 15: Free time on Myconos. Farewell dinner on the last night.

Day 16: High-speed ferry back to Athens.

Day 17: Free day to explore Athens and return to your favorite spots or explore new ones.

Day 18: Return home or extend your trip
