Budapest-Vienna-Prague:
The Danube Dance!

Dive into the heart of Europe on this waltz through three beautiful cities. Culture, music, history and more delicious food than you can imagine. Includes the beautiful, fairy-tale-like Cesky Krumlov as well!
Basic Itinerary:
Day 1: Depart the USA for Budapest, Hungary
Day 2: Arrival in Budapest. Transfer to the hotel. We'll enjoy dinner, including a welcome drink, at the hotel, and we’ll have a briefing about the tour. There are lots of nearby places you want to visit.
Day 3: Budapest: We will enjoy a guided sightseeing excursion of Budapest in the morning. Your afternoon is free to do as you wish. Our local guide can suggest things to do on your free time and point out optional tours and things to do.
Day 4: Budapest: This morning we'll drive to the charming little town of Szentendre. It is filled with shops and galleries and places for morning coffee. You will have a few hours to shop and explore as you wish. You are back in Budapest by early afternoon to enjoy more free time to do as you wish.
Day 5: Budapest: Full free day. This evening we will be on a Danube River Cruise through Budapest so we can enjoy the city lights on both sides of the river. The sight is beautiful!
Day 6: Vienna: This morning we head to Vienna along a scenic route. We will stop on the top of Visegrad Hill for a breathtaking view of the Danube Bend, where the river makes a sharp turn and we’ll have a look of the ruins of the medieval fortress. We will visit the Cathedral in Esztergom. You will stop for lunch (only your own) in Gyor. Then, off to Vienna where we should arrive around 5 p.m. at the latest.
Day 7: Vienna: This morning we will enjoy an orientation tour of Vienna, including a tour inside the famous Palace of Schönbrunn and then back to the hotel for some relaxing and lunch time on your own. In mid-afternoon we will embark on another excursion that will take us through the Vienna Woods and end up outside of Vienna in the Grinzig area. Here you will have time to explore and pick your spot for wine tasting and dinner.
Days 8 and 9: Vienna: Free to explore Vienna on your own.
Day 10: Cesky Krumlov: Our drive this morning takes us to the fairy-tale-like medieval town (and World Heritage Site) of Cesky Krumlov. Cesky is a maze of cobblestone streets and charming Renaissance facades built along a loop in the river and overseen by an enormous castle. It’s a wonderful place to explore. This afternoon you are free to explore all areas of this charming place. Be sure to walk around town after the sun sets and the street lanterns are on--the city truly takes on the feel of a movie set!
Day 11: Prague: This morning, we will enjoy a walking tour with our guide. The tour also includes a visit to the Castle. Lunch is on our own. This afternoon we drive a few hours to beautiful Prague. Lots of fun to walk over the famous Charles Bridge this evening when the lamps are lit on the bridge and on the castles and buildings on both sides of the river.
Day 12: Prague: This morning we will have a half-day walking tour of Old Town and more, followed by a boat ride on the Vltava River. Prague is divided into two parts with the Vltava River running between them. The afternoon is free time.
Day 13: Prague: This morning we'll explore the Castle area (Golden Lane, St. Vitus Cathedral, etc.) on the other side of the river. There are lots of things to do and see in this area. The afternoon is free time.
Day 14: Prague: A full free day for you to do as you wish. Tonight we meet and enjoy a fun farewell dinner (Bohemian Beer Party with floor show).
Day 15: Fly back to the USA.
